Sharing a photo of herself holding a Christmassy 'Holly' with a mince pie sitting uneaten beside it on Sunday (8 October), the This Morning presenter asked her followers whether it was too early to tuck in, as The Sun reports.

'So this just happened... Too soon?' she captioned the photo.

And, safe to say, her query garnered a mixed response with some followers seemingly outraged that she would consider enjoying the festive staple in October...

Another added: 'It's bad luck to eat a mince pie before Halloween.'

However, plenty of other followers thought Holly should get stuck in, insisting it's never too early to get in the festive spirit...

'Never too soon for mince pies!!!' wrote one fan, while another said: 'Go girl good on ya [sic]. It's never too soon.'

Now, we don't know about you, but we've always thought you should wait until December before eating Christmas treats...
