Italian Airport Waives Ban on Traveling with Liquids, but Only for One Product

Italian Airport Waives Ban on Traveling with Liquids, but Only for One Product The ban on flying with more 100 milliliters of liquids like shampoo, wine, or toothpaste in a carry-on bag has been the bane of travelers for years. The tiny limit on the amount of liquid allowed to be taken on a plane has caused problems for travellers all over the world. One woman chugged an entire bottle of Cognac rather than relinquish it to airport security, and then was barred from getting on the plane for being wildly intoxicated. Another pair of tourists drank a $1,200 (£947.28) bottle of aphrodisiac wine in the middle of the security checkpoint rather than give it up.

For most fliers, it sounds like a thing of dreams—or at the very least, a thing that would come with a hefty price tag. But for fliers on Thai Airways, it’s just another day in economy class. North American-based fliers can check out the best—and worst—airlines in the U.S.

The World Airline Awards recently crowned Thai Airways the best economy class airline in the world. The awards featured 320 airlines, which were ranked using the results of a survey taken by 19.87 million fliers. Each carrier was evaluated on 49 topics, including its website, seat comfort, cleanliness, entertainment, food, and hospitality.

Turns Out, THIS Is The Most Disgusting Place On An Airplane

Turns Out, THIS Is The Most Disgusting Place On An Airplane We always have a sneaking suspicion that there are things the flight attendants aren't telling us when we hop on a plane. This isn't rooted in paranoia as much as in wanting to know all the secrets and inner workings of the tin cans we fly in.Our curiosity was recently satiated by a Reddit thread called, "Flight Attendants of Reddit: What Do the Passengers Not Know?" Town & Country originally reported on the thread. As you might expect, there's plenty of info about which we're kept in the dark (and some of us actually like it that way...).

If you’re wondering exactly what you’re missing, Thai Airways offers in-flight entertainment that “may rival your home system,” as well as musical options “with hundreds of albums at your fingertips.” Even the bathrooms sound better than average, and are stocked with “fragrant toilet water.” If you’re wondering, this is the brilliant way flight attendants deal with smelly bathrooms.

For the record, no North American airlines ranked in the top 20 list of economy class airlines. In a separate list of “best airlines in North America” (note that this takes into account more than just economy class), Air Canada ranked first, followed by Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and jetBlue Airways.

We’ll keep you updated if a local carrier pushes its way into the top 20.

This is what happens when airline pilots secretly race each other

This is what happens when airline pilots secretly race each other When a Quora user asked if pilots race to destinations and compete with other airliners, pilot Tim Sanders explained that races are pretty few and far between But sometimes there are opportunities. It does happen. But generally such behaviour is rare. And indeed, as Mike Frey has said, basically ATC limitations prevent much of this kind of activity.

This is often the reality faced by passengers world -wide and while some airlines are better than others, there are definitely those that are worse than others as well . These 15 airlines have all been called ‘the worst’ in one way or another and have reputations for delays
