If that last badge sounds familiar, you might have heard about the SUV-like Active variant of the Fiesta that's on its way in a few months.

Its bigger brother will follow the same formula – slightly raised suspension in combination with additional plastic body cladding for a more rugged appearance, as our rendering previews. Don’t expect phenomenal off-road capabilities, because the hatch will continue to be powered exclusively by the front wheels.

Naturally, ST and RS variants will join the range at a later date.

We're all set to see the newest Ford Focus at the Geneva motor show in March – European versions of the car will continue to be built at Ford's factory in Germany. The hatch and estate will arrive first, followed by the Active and super plush Vignale version early in 2019.
