Acer announces two 360-degree cameras

Acer announces two 360-degree cameras Acer is joining the 360-degree video craze with two new cameras, including one designed for your car. The other camera Acer announced is the Vision360, a camera designed as a high-end dash cam. The Vision360 is designed to film every angle of your car during a collision in 4K, and then upload that footage to the cloud with GPS coordinates and your speed. If your car is stationary and is hit (say in a parking lot) the Vision360 will activate, record a clip, and send your phone a notification, a far better solution than a simple dash cam especially if your vehicle gets hit from behind.

Jessie also opened up about how "lost" she felt after her last record, 2014's 'Sweet Talker', under-performed, but ultimately nothing could tear her away from her passion which is her bloodline.

Whilst walking through a field, Jessie says in the clip: "I tried to stop and I didn't know how to because it's impossible to walk away from true love. Art, emotion, lyrics, music, feeling is what I need to survive.

"I don't do this because I want to do it, I do it because I have to."

Speaking of her break from the spotlight, she explains: "I lost my passion to create, to draw a line between business and art.

"I'd fallen into darkness and allowed myself to be led by fear. The fear was keeping other people happy who didn't ever care about me and I was running deeper into something and someone I wasn't.

South London soul singer Sampha wins 2017 Mercury Prize

South London soul singer Sampha wins 2017 Mercury Prize Sampha has won the Mercury Prize for his album which ruminates about the loss of his mother from cancer. The soul singer from Morden, South London, won the award for the album Precious which also depicts his own fears for his health. The presenter Lauren Laverne described the process of choosing the winner as the "longest deliberation from our judges ever". In his speech, he said: "I feel like I'm dreaming!" and thanked his parents for giving him and his family "the best upbringing possible." He was born Sampha Sissay in London to Sierra Leonean parents and emerged on social media a decade ago where he was discovered by music producers impressed with his voice. He has sung on records by other artists such as SBTRKT and Jessie Ware and has also featured on Beyonce's Mine, Drake's Too Much and Solange's Don't Touch My Hair. Of his own record, he told the BBC: "It's taken me quite a while to feel like I was emotionally stable to write my own record and people have been incredibly lovely and understanding." The 28-year-old was up against the rapper Kate Tempest who was one of the bookies' favourites, as well as grime artist Stormzy, the rock group Blossom and former nominees the XX. A sign of the award shifting to the mainstream was the nomination of chart-topper Ed Sheeran, who was the only nominee not to perform on the night at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, west London. In recent years, the award has been given to artists who may have not enjoyed much commercial success. Kate Tempest's album Let Them Eat Chaos had been the favourite to win, although it was always a close contest between her, Sampha and art-rock band Glass Animals, the BBC reported.
