Justin Bieber claims he made Marilyn Manson 'relevant again'

Justin Bieber claims he made Marilyn Manson 'relevant again' Justin Bieber once told Marilyn Manson that he made him "relevant" again by selling his repurposed shirts.Marilyn Manson has claimed Justin Bieber recently told him he's made him "relevant" again.

Justin Bieber and Marilyn Manson couldn’t be further from one another on the music spectrum, and now it appears that distance translates to real life, too. “He was a real piece of s — in the way he had the arrogance to say that,” Manson added.

Marilyn Manson . And the shock rocker has become embroiled in a bizarre feud with Justin Bieber over a mash-up t-shirt based on one of the 90 s star' s classic shirts. He was a real piece of s *** in the way he had the arrogance to say that.

Metal artist Marilyn Manson has launched a scathing attack on pop singer Justin Bieber, describing the 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker as too "touchy-feely" and "a real piece of sh**t".

The remarks come after a dispute that started last year after Bieber released a T-shirt which had a design borrowing heavily from a T-shirt the 'Antichrist Superstar' singer had earlier brought out.

Bieber's T-shirt was almost identical to Manson's original T-shirt, but had his name on the back instead. It reportedly retailed for US$195 ($244 AU) - a huge increase on the US$19 ($23 AU) Manson's T-shirt could be bought for.

While Manson was alleged to have signed off on the T-shirt, he denied that in a recent interview - and said he took all the profits Bieber's team earned from the piece of merchandise from him.

Marilyn Manson embroiled in feud with Justin Bieber over T-shirts

Marilyn Manson embroiled in feud with Justin Bieber over T-shirts Marilyn Manson managed to get revenge on Justin Bieber after he allegedly told the rocker he made him "relevant again" by wearing his T-shirts. The Sorry singer wore a vintage Manson T-shirt onstage during his Purpose World Tour, sold tops with Manson's face on the front and Justin's name on the back as part of his official tour merchandise, and a repurposed Manson T-shirt featuring the words "Bigger Than Satan Bieber" went on sale in U.S. store Barneys last summer (16). The heavy metal rocker took issue with the 23-year-old using his image in that way and made sure he told him when he bumped into Justin, but the popstar was less than apologetic. "I saw a little girl in a pink hoodie with blond hair, and it turns out to be Bieber," he told Billboard. "I sit down, and I say, 'Hey, so you wore my shirt and everything onstage.' He was one of those touchy people that hit you when they talk, and he comes up to about d**k height. Then he goes, 'I made you relevant again.'" Manson was so incensed by the comment that he got revenge on Justin the next day by telling him that he would be coming to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a soundcheck so they could perform his 1996 track The Beautiful People during Justin's concert. "Obviously, when 4 p.m. rolled around the next day, I just didn't show," he added.

His latest piece of apparel, now available at Barneys, is a reconfigured Marilyn Manson t-shirt being sold as the “Bigger Than Satan Bieber ” cotton sleeveless t-shirt. Tags: Barneys, Justin Bieber , Marilyn Manson .

Marilyn Manson ' s not down with all the beautiful people After his image was used (allegedly without his consent) in Justin Bieber ' s Purpose tour Of the interaction, the "Dope Show" singer also told Consequence of Sound, "[ Bieber ] was a real piece of s --t in the way he had the arrogance to say that."

"They didn't even fight - they were just like, 'Yeah, we already know, we did wrong, so here's the money,'" he told Consequence of Sound.

Manson said he and Bieber recently met - and the latter was wearing the T-shirt that had caused so much drama between them.

"He said to me, 'I made you relevant again.' Bad mistake to say to me," Manson said.

"He was a real piece of sh**t in the way he had the arrogance to say that. He was a real touchy-feely guy too, like, 'Yo yo bro!' and touches you when he's talking.

"I'm like, you need to stand down, you're di** height on me, okay? Alright? So stand down son."

However despite Bieber's alleged snarky comment, Manson revealed he got the last laugh

"The next day I told him I'd be at his soundcheck at Staples Center to do 'Beautiful People'. He believed that I'd show up, because he was that stupid."

Marilyn Manson blames Columbine shooting for 'destroying' his entire career .
Marilyn Manson has sensationally blamed the 1999 Columbine High School shooting for "destroying my entire career". Teenagers Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris killed 12 students and one teacher at the Colorado school, before turning the guns on themselves. Following the tragedy, reports emerged that the shooters were fans of Manson's music. It was even claimed that the duo were wearing Manson T-shirts when they embarked on the shooting rampage. And while these claims turned out to be untrue, Manson admitted during a new interview with Britain's The Guardian newspaper that they still had a drastic, negative effect on his career. "Give them the money and let them make their own choice: guns or records. If (Klebold and Harris) had just bought my records, they would be better off," he said. "Certain people blame me for the shootings at schools - I think my numbers are low, and hopefully they go up on (my upcoming) record. But, honestly, the Columbine era destroyed my entire career at the time." Manson's first album after the shooting, 2000's Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death), had disappointing sales for the star. And during an interview with Larry King in 2013, the singer admitted he knew the shooting would have an impact on his career when he heard the news. "(I) was the best face to attach to at the time because I put myself in the role of villain.
