Linkin Park's Carpool Karaoke episode posted on Facebook in memory of Chester Bennington .
Linkin Park's Carpool Karaoke has been released to fans in memory of the band’s late frontman Chester Bennington. The Numb singer filmed the episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which is based on a segment from James Corden’s The Late Late Show, with his bandmates and The Hangover star Ken Jeong weeks before the singer killed himself at the age of 41 in July (17). The screening of the episode was previously cast in doubt, with the decision left in the hands of the musician's family by James, who stars in and executive produces Carpool Karaoke: The Series. At the time he told the Associated Press: "We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled. "We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it. It's a tragedy." The episode has now been shared with the band's fans on Linkin Park’s Facebook page. “With the blessing of Chester‘s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester. This was taped July 14, 2017,” a disclaimer by Apple reads before the footage begins.
