BBC Two's new thriller series Collateral continued tonight (February 19) and proved to be just as gripping and full of twists as its premiere last week was.

With the shooting of an illegal immigrant in South London drawing together Carey Mulligan's copper, John Simm's politician and Nicola Walker's vicar in the first episode, tonight's second episode saw DI Kip Glaspie (Mulligan) focus her investigation on the murdered Abdullah's sisters.

Glaspie thinks they hold the key to his death, but her investigation into why the pizza delivery man was killed is derailed by a sinister MI5 officer and, of course, it only delivered more questions than it answered.

As this week's episode spent more time with the person who fired the deadly shots, army officer Sandrine (Jeany Spark), as she battled PTSD and sexual harassment from her superior officer, while Laurie (Hayley Squires) found herself in a dangerous situation, Collateral delivered a powerful episode tonight.
