West Ham place huge price tag on Arnautovic as Manchester United watch on

West Ham place huge price tag on Arnautovic as Manchester United watch on West Ham have placed a £60 million price tag on Marko Arnautovic as interest from Manchester United persists. The Austrian forward enjoyed a break-out season in the 2017/18 campaign, scoring 11 goals in 31 appearances. A physical presence at the top of the Hammers’ formation, the 29-year-old caused serious problems for opposing defenders. Joining from Stoke City last summer, the ‘Hammer of the Year’ turned in a performance worthy of generating transfer buzz just one year after joining. Premier League rivals Manchester United are said to be keen on acquiring Arnautovic, but according to the Mirror, he won’t be coming cheaply. The Hammers’ official position is that the forward is not for sale, but now a rumour suggests £60 million could be enough to prise the veteran away from the London Stadium. New manager Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bring high profile signings (namely, Felipe Anderson and Javier Pastore) to the club in his first window, and will be eager to avoid losing any of the existing talent in East London. With news of Manuel Lanzini’s serious knee injury breaking on Friday morning, West Ham may be even more protective of their attacking options then they were before.

There is now speculation that Ben Affleck could leave the role of Batman after dropping out as director in the upcoming film. Though we haven’t yet gotten the new Halloween movie trailer (that drops Friday), we’re getting all

A new rumour has surfaced adding fuel to the speculation that Ben Affleck is about to step down from his role as the DCEU's Batman . It’d be a great shame if Affleck does leave his role because of how well received he was, but for now, he remains in line to reprise the role .

He’d been rumoured to be departing his Batman role ahead of Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie, The Batman. Conflicting reports had then suggested that Affleck was to remain Batman for another film or two.

But now? Deadline has posited that those changes behind the scenes at DC and Warner Bros are going to mean changes in front of the camera too. That a new actor is now ‘likely’ to take over the Batman role ahead of Reeves’ movie, which may mean too that Justice League will be the swansong for Batfleck.

Roberts linked with another move back to Celtic .
Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts is being linked with another move back to Celtic this summer. According to the Derry Journal, Roberts could become available this summer following James Maddison’s move to Leicester City. The Foxes completed the signing of Maddison on Wednesday, which all but ends their interest in Roberts, who was on loan at Celtic last season. Reports had suggested that Roberts could end up at Leicester, with Riyad Mahrez heading to Manchester City. While City are still expected to pursue a deal for Mahrez, Leicester are unlikely to push for Roberts’ signature. The report claims that should a move happen this summer, it is likely to be a loan move, with Celtic facing the prospect of being priced out of a deal. Roberts has previously stated that he would not be returning to the Hoops this summer, but it is yet to be seen how Maddison’s move to the King Power will affect this.
