Mane could play a huge role in Liverpool's pursuit of Keita

Mane could play a huge role in Liverpool's pursuit of Keita Liverpool’s pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has been handed a huge boost after it was revealed the player shares the same agent as Sadio Mane. A report from the Liverpool Echo suggests Jurgen Klopp will be hopeful of completing a deal for the midfielder who has impressed so many during Leipzig’s debut season in the Bundesliga, which has seen them qualify for next season’s Champions League. The Reds boss is thought to be keen to strengthen his midfield ahead of the new Premier League season. Keita has drawn comparisons to N’Golo Kante for his energetic and hard working performances in the Bundesliga, but the Guinea midfielder offers much more of an attacking threat. The 22-year-old has scored eight league goals this season, as well as registering seven assists in the Bundesliga. Like fellow Liverpool target, Julian Brandt, Keita is another player in the Bundesliga under serious consideration from Bayern Munich, who will be looking to strengthen again this summer.

West Brom are reportedly set to rival the likes of Celtic, Southampton, Bournemouth and Liverpool in their pursuit of Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru.

According to a report from the Mirror this evening, the Baggies are the latest top flight outfit to join the chase for the young forward, who is currently plying his trade out in Belgium with Eupen.

Onyekuru is enjoying a superb breakthrough season and has hit the net 15 times so far this season for his side, helping them to the play-offs.

The report states that Celtic did move in for Onyekuru in the January transfer window but had their efforts to sign him rebuffed after offering a lowly fee of just £1 million.

At just 19, the Nigerian is set to be high in demand this summer but any potential suitors will reportedly need to cough up a considerable sum of £7 million to lure him away from Belgium.

Tony Pulis reveals why Baggies let Galloway leave .
Tony Pulis has explained West Brom’s decision to let Brendan Galloway return to his parent club. The young defender had been on a season-long loan at the club but struggled to break into the starting XI. Pulis who was speaking to the club’s official website explained that the decision was made to allow the defender to get some valuable game time with the club’s U23s side. “We are allowing Brendan to play in three very, very important games for their 23s. He’s an absolute pleasure to work with and we enjoy having him with us and working with him. Of course he would have wanted to play more but he has found it very difficult in competition with Allan Nyom and Chris Brunt performing so well there. He is top lad with a great career ahead of him.” Everton were keen to recall him in the January transfer window to allow him to move on to another club, with several Championship sides lining up loan moves for him. Despite making just five appearances during his time with the Baggies, Pulis rejected Everton’s approach to try and recall the youngster, as he wanted him for cover. Galloway featured for David Unsworth’s side last night during a 4-1 win against Tottenham. The defender impressed throughout and grabbed an assist on his return.
