Last summer, he joined Bournemouth on a free transfer but again was on the outside looking in, failing to even make the matchday squad just once in the Premier League with his three appearances for the Cherries coming in domestic cup action.

A decision was made to send the USA international out on loan in January and he joined Rangers and has started every SPFL game he’s been available for, scoring four goals in the process.

If a move for Wilshere is ruled out, it’s safe to say that Bournemouth would be less than willing to allow Hyndman to leave given the lack of depth they have in central midfield if/when Wilshere returns to Arsenal.
