  Juventus reject Chelsea offer for Alex Sandro Giuseppe Marotta has revealed Juventus have rejected Chelsea's offer for Alex Sandro, as they are keen to hold on to their key players.Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has claimed the Turin giants have turned down a big-money offer from Chelsea for Alex Sandro.

Chelsea have suffered rejection in one of their first major moves of the transfer window, if rumours are to be believed. Respected Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri Tweeted to claim that the Blues had a £44 million bid for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro rejected by Antonio Conte’s former club .

Chelsea have seen a club-record bid for Alex Sandro rejected by Juventus, but the Italians will not stand in his way in he wants to move.

The Daily Mail reports that the Old Lady will sanction the deal if he makes the club aware of the fact he wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

Sandro has been touted as a possible transfer target as Antonio Conte looks to add reinforcement to his back line.

The Brazilian has been a key component of Juventus’ dominance since joining the club in 2015 from Porto.

Sandro joined the Italian champions for just £26 million and the Turin club are well aware of the profit that is being made available to them in the summer transfer window.

After missing out on the Champions League with Juventus, Sandro may feel it’s time to move on with Conte setting his sights on the European competition next season.

Football Italia reports that the Serie A champions have identified two players that they would like to bring in with the money raised through Sandro’s sale to Chelsea. The Old Lady have identified Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian and AC Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio as transfer targets this summer. Juventus could lose both Dani Alves and Juan Cuadrado this summer, so reinforcements in wide areas will be crucial for Massimo Allegri. Chelsea are set to test Juventus with an improved bid believed to be in the region of £60 million for the Brazilian international. Previous reports have suggested that the club will sanction the deal if the player makes them aware that he would like to leave the club. The Italians are aware of the huge profits available to them on the player they signed for just €26 million in 2015.
