Liverpool have finally agreed a deal with Roma over the transfer of Mohamed Salah, according to report from the reliable King Tut outlet in Salah’s home country of Egypt.

The report states that the player will now fly to England on Tuesday for a medical, with the deal apparently costing €45 million in total, albeit some of that will be in performance related add-ons.

The negotiations for this deal have been long and drawn out but it looks like Liverpool have finally got their man, pending his medical.

The 24-year-old winger will get a second chance to impress in the Premier League after his spell at Chelsea ended with him hardly making an impact due to a lack of game time given to him by Jose Mourinho.

He’s developed as a player since that spell and will provide some much needed pace to Liverpool’s attack, something that was missing when Sadio Mane was unavailable.
