Everton turn attention towards landing Arsenal man

Everton turn attention towards landing Arsenal man After completing the signing of Wayne Rooney this afternoon, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol believes that Everton are now turning their attention towards securing Olivier Giroud from Arsenal. Twitter: Wayne Rooney done. Everton now focusing on Olivier Giroud. They believe they have 50% chance of signing the Arsenal striker (@SkyKaveh) The Toffees added the experienced England international to their squad officially today, and it looks as though Ronald Koeman is keen to keep on building for the upcoming season. Giroud has been linked with a move to Everton, and also to West Ham and Marseille in recent times, as the exit of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United continues to loom. With Arsenal having recently signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a club-record fee, Giroud’s future at the Emirates has become increasingly uncertain. This has led to Everton keeping an eye on his situation, with the 30-year-old emerging as a leading target for Koeman. Giroud is understood to be keen on staying at Arsenal, but also to be playing consistent football – which Arsene Wenger is set to be unable to provide.

Mathieu Debuchy is set to join West Brom on loan as he looks to reignite his Euro 2016 hopes. The Frenchman was absent, once again, from the Arsenal match day squad and it seemed certain that he would be on his way from the club, despite it leaving the Gunners criminally short at the back.

The Mirror claim that the young defender is preparing to accept a loan move to Premier League new boys Brighton & Hove Albion after Chris Hughton offered him the opportunity to play regularly. Could Arsenal ’s Olivier Giroud be set for a shock switch to Everton? 2.

Mathieu Debuchy is edging ever closer to finally securing a move away from Arsenal this summer, as he travels to Nice for a medical.

According to French news outlet RMC Sport, as covered by the Mirror today, the experienced defender is en route back to his homeland as he looks to revitalise his career.

Since his move from Newcastle, Debuchy has underwhelmed. He’s suffered niggling injuries but has failed to impose himself on the Arsenal squad and has failed to break into Arsene Wenger’s plans.

Arsenal Defender Could Reconsider Future In The Summer – Report. Andre Santos could be set for a summer move to Galatasaray, with the defender giving up on the possibility of breaking into the starting line-up.

The defender is too far down in the pecking order at the Emirates to really make anything of his time at Arsenal, and will now look to kick on at Nice.

Debuchy will be hoping to secure regular first-team football in Ligue 1.

Palace targeting Arsenal defender Chambers .
Crystal Palace have identified out of favour Arsenal defender Calum Chambers as a target this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Jim White. Twitter: Calum Chambers of @Arsenal, emerging tonight as a reported £20million @CPFC target. (@JimWhite) The England Under-21 international spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, but couldn’t do enough to help keep them afloat in the top flight. Despite this though, he impressed on several occasions and showed that he does have the quality to succeed in the Premier League. Chambers has not enjoyed the success that was expected of him upon his £16m move to Arsenal from Southampton in the summer of 2014, but is a player with undoubted ability and potential. Frank de Boer appears to be keen on lowering the average age of his Palace squad and the addition of Chambers would certainly help to achieve that. However, it’s unlikely that the Eagles would be willing to part with £20m to land Chambers.
