Manchester City are reportedly close to agreeing a fee with Napoli over the transfer of Pepe Reina.

According to a report from the Telegraph, the Citizens are closing in on the 34-year-old, with Pep Guardiola keen to bolster his goalkeeping options further.

Ederson Moraes has already been recruited this summer from Benfica and while it’s likely that he will be Guardiola’s first choice between the sticks this season, he is not stopping there.

It’s claimed in the report that an initial bid worth £2.6m was rejected by Napoli, with them keen to make £4.4m from the sale of Reina. However, City should have absolutely no problem with reaching an agreement with the Serie A outfit, and an agreement is looking likely.

Arsenal close to signing Feyenoord man

Arsenal close to signing Feyenoord man Arsenal are reportedly close to signing young striker Joshua Zirkzee from Feyenoord, according to a report covered by Sport Witness. The 16-year-old prospect is said to have failed to reach an agreement with Dutch giants Ajax, so now is on the verge of completing a move to North London. Feyenoord had reportedly offered Zirkzee a place in their U19 squad for next season, but the youngster rejected the proposal. This has further fuelled speculation that he will be on the move this summer, and with Ajax failing in their attempt to lure Zirkzee from their fierce rivals, Arsenal seems to be the likely destination. Since his arrival at Feyenoord from ADO Den Haag last year, Zirkzee scored 33 goals in 27 appearances for various academy sides at the Dutch club, earning a place in the Netherlands U16 national team. With some reports saying PSV Eindhoven are also interested in the hotshot, others are saying that Manchester United are keeping tabs on the situation, and could hijack Arsenal’s bid for the youngster. But for now, it would appear that Arsenal are close to signing a very talented player, with a big future ahead of him.

West Ham close in on Hart deal .
West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan, according to the Telegraph. The report claims that West Ham are close to completing the signing of Hart on a season-long loan from City, as he looks set for an exit from The Etihad. City manager Pep Guardiola made it clear last summer that Hart was not in his plans and shipped him out on loan to Torino in Italy, where he had mixed reviews. Hart is keen on a move back to the Premier League and looks set for that with The Hammers, who want a new number one for next season. Neither Darren Randolph nor Adrian was able to impress enough for Slaven Bilic to put his confidence in them for the 2017/18 campaign. The report also claims that West Ham could have an option to buy Hart on a permanent deal at the end of the loan. Manchester City are looking for a fee in the region of £20m.
