Norwich predicted XI: Burton Albion (H)

Norwich predicted XI: Burton Albion (H) Norwich City host Burton Albion at Carrow Road on Tuesday night as they look to build on their win over Birmingham. The Canaries beat Birmingham 1-0 on Saturday, with Nelson Oliveira’s early goal sealing the three points for Daniel Farke’s side. The clean sheet was massive for Norwich, who had conceded eight goals in their previous two league fixtures before Birmingham. Timm Klose came into the side and was excellent at the back alongside Christoph Zimmermann, with Grant Hanley also waiting on his full debut after a brief cameo on Saturday. Farke will hope for a similar defensive display against a Burton side who have scored just four goals in their opening six Championship matches. Burton have also conceded 14, two more than Norwich. This was heavily influenced by their 5-0 defeat to Leeds on Saturday. If Norwich play at their best, it should be a comfortable win.

Norwich City battled to a 0-0 draw against Burton Albion at Carrow Road on Tuesday night.

The Canaries were left frustrated as Burton sat back and absorbed everything Norwich had to throw at them.

Norwich were left to hit shots from distance in frustration, with most flying high and wide of the goal.

The best chance of the game came midway into the second half. Wes Hoolahan slipped Josh Murphy through on goal but the winger saw his shot saved by Stephen Bywater.

Despite the lack of goals, Norwich have now kept three league clean sheets in-a-row at Carrow Road – a stat that bodes well for the club’s defensive woes.

Here are four things we learned from the game…

United keeping an eye on Wahi .
Manchester United are interested in SM Caen youngster Elye Wahi, according to Le Parisien. The French outlet reports that United are one of a number of Premier League teams keen on the talented forward. Wahi has caught the eye of United’s scouts following an incredible season for Caen last season. The forward scored 89 goals across Caen’s under-14 and under-15’s games last campaign. The 14-year-old, however, will not be able to sign for a Premier League club for at least two years. Wahi is unable to make the switch until his 16th birthday, with United currently tracking his progress. The report claims that Southampton, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are the other Premier League sides interested. Serie A giants Juventus are also said to be keeping an eye on the prolific winger. All interested clubs will now have to follow his progress over the next two years until they can make their move.
