  UK house prices just hit their highest on record The average UK house price hit £225,109 in September - its highest on record, according to a closely-watched survey. Halifax's house price index showed prices grew at their fastest rate since February in the three months to September, rising 1.4 per cent on the previous three months. On an annual basis, prices were up four per cent on September last year, while month-on-month growth between August and September hit 0.8 per cent.The survey cautioned that while house price growth was stronger in September than in the previous months, growth was still weaker than the 6.

Premier League research has for the first time produced a definitive report on its clubs' ticket prices that shows the average ticket price this season is £31, and that over 56% of the 12.5million tickets sold cost £30 or less.

Overall, average NFL ticket prices are up six percent year-over-year across the league, with teams like the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons leading the pack of highest average ticket prices .

Premier League research has revealed the average ticket price across the league this season to be £32.

Analysis compiled by the league and professional services company Ernst & Young, using data collected from all 20 clubs, shows more than half of all attending fans are paying £30 or less per match during the 2017-18 campaign.

Premier League Executive Chairman, Richard Scudamore, said: "The loyal and passionate support of attending fans is hugely appreciated by clubs, their managers and players, and the Premier League.

"This research shows the excellent value clubs are offering across the League and the impressive commitment of their fans. I hope it will challenge commonly held perceptions about the cost of attending Premier League football, and encourage even more people to consider going to a match."

The research includes all parts of Premier League stadiums except hospitality areas, and includes all ticket prices include booking fees or admin charges.
