Katy Perry kicks inflatable ball into fan's face

Katy Perry kicks inflatable ball into fan's face Katy Perry accidentally kicked an inflatable ball straight into a fan's face during her concert in Utah on Friday (24Nov17). Inflatable balls designed to look like eyeballs are circulated throughout the audience as part of the singer's Witness tour, and she sometimes kicks or punches them back towards the crowd if they start to come close to the stage. During her recent show in Salt Lake City, Katy got a bit carried away and unwittingly kicked one right into her fan's face. Video footage taken by the fan shows the singer performing an energetic rendition of Roar and deflecting the incoming balls, and launches one straight in the direction of the cameraperson. The ball hits the screen of the phone, making it go black, and the device is dropped to the floor. As it is picked back up, the fan’s friend can be seen laughing. "I didn’t realise that she was kicking it right at my face until it was too late," the fan wrote with the footage. “The ball hit me right square in the face and knocked my phone out of my hands. I was so shocked and started laughing hysterically. “Everyone around me asked me if I was okay and I was just laughing uncontrollably. My phone died shortly after, so once I got home and charged it I watched the video and it was hilarious." This isn't the first time Katy has had an onstage mishap during her Witness tour; the singer was left stranded up in the air when a prop of the planet Saturn malfunctioned and failed to bring her back down to the stage during a show in Nashville, Tennessee in October. She ended up jumping into the crowd.

League One side AFC Wimbledon can look forward to a day out at Wembley, having been drawn away at London rivals Tottenham.

And League Two leaders Luton have also been handed an enticing away day - the Hatters will be heading to St James' Park for a clash with Newcastle.

Non-league Hereford will welcome 2016 Premier League champions Leicester to Edgar Street, if they can first win their replay against League One side Fleetwood.

And National League outfit AFC Fylde will make a trip to Premier League Bournemouth if they can upset the odds in their second-round replay at Wigan.

Chelsea given boost in hunt for Manolas but face competition

Chelsea given boost in hunt for Manolas but face competition According to talkSPORT, Chelsea receive a boost in their pursuit of Roma’s Kostas Manolas after news on his release clause, but will face competition from London rivals Arsenal for the Greek defender. Manolas has been linked with a move to the Premier League a lot since breaking onto the scene at Roma. He has been mainly linked with Manchester United but now Chelsea and Arsenal are keen on his services. The Blues brought in Manolas’ ex-Roma teammate, Antonio Rudiger, in the summer but with Antonio Conte falling out with David Luiz and Gary Cahill not performing to standards, Chelsea are after a new centre-back. Manolas signed a new contract at Roma very recently, which includes a £32.75m release clause and with the riches that both Chelsea and Arsenal have, that seems a bargain for someone of Manolas’ stature. Juventus and Zenit St Petersburg are both interested in Manolas as well as the Premier League clubs, but with the opportunity to play both Premier League and Champions League, it maybe hard to resist for Manolas.

Conte wants positive mindset after Barcelona draw .
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that his side must have a “positive” mindset after being drawn in the UEFA Champions League last-16 with Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, according to a report on the Daily Star. The current Premier League champions face a difficult tie with the Catalan club but Conte feels that it will be a good test for his side. “It’s a draw and our reaction must be positive. As I know very well you must be ready to face everything and in this case you must ready.” The fixtures against Barcelona create a eye-catching matchup between two of the world’s best players, Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi and Conte believes that this is the chance for his side to show their worth. “This type of game is a good chance for every player to show the right value, not only for Hazard but for every player in the right way.” The Blues have already faced Spanish opponents Atletico Madrid in the group stage of the competition, who they won and drew against. However, Conte earlier revealed that the priority for his side this season is to finish in the top four in the league table to ensure Champions League qualification for next season. Chelsea travel to Huddersfield Town in midweek as they look to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat against London rivals West Ham United.
