Lucas Moura reportedly favours a move to Manchester United

Lucas Moura reportedly favours a move to Manchester United Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for PSG outcast Lucas Moura in recent weeks. The Brazilian wide man is looking all but set to depart the Ligue 1 leaders in the near future, with first-team opportunities under Unai Emery continuing to be limited. Lucas is sure to have plenty of potential suitors to pick from should he be allowed to leave Paris, though, and United appear to be one of these. It seems that the Red Devils’ interest in Lucas is reciprocated by the player as well. According to a report from French news outlet Telefoot, as cited by the Daily Mail, Lucas would prefer a move to Old Trafford as he angles for a move away from PSG. The likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are currently keeping Lucas out of the team at PSG and it seems United are keen to land a wide player, which means a deal seems plausible for all parties.

It is believed that United would prefer a loan move, but the French side would like a permanent deal to balance the books after a busy summer of spending.

“He’s a high-class player, and with us he could have played in a league he knows instead of being a PSG substitute or going to another country. He would have been available right now and could have six months away from the World Cup. But he made another choice. Never mind.”

Andre Ayew holding out for Marseille return .
According to reports circulating from Ghanaweb, West Ham forward Andre Ayew is hoping for a move back to his former side Marseille. The 28-year-old spent 8 years in France with Marseille, scoring 45 goals in 152 appearances for the side currently placed 3rd in Ligue 1. Ayew impressed when first moving to England on a free transfer, joining Swansea at the end of his Marseille contract in the summer of 2015. During his time in Wales, the Ghanian managed 12 goals and 5 assists in his debut season in England. West Ham next summer decided that Ayew would be the right man to become their record-signing ahead of the London Stadium move. He arrived in Stratford and joined the Hammers for £20m. In all competitions so far in his career at West Ham, Ayew has played 50 games and socred 12 goals. The misfit was rumoured to return to Swansea this month but West Ham swiftly rejected a £14m bid, holding out for the £20m they paid for him last season. It is thought David Moyes will be willing to sell Andre Ayew in order to target new players this window. If the £20m is offered for the 28-year-old, the move back to France could be desirable for both clubs.
