In 2006 , O . J . Simpson sat down for a wide-ranging, no-holds-barred interview in which he gave a gripping "hypothetical" account of the brutal murder of his. Award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien will front “ O . J . Simpson : The Lost Confession ?” lining up a panel of experts to discuss the footage.

Former NFL running back O.J. Simpson detailed how he would have hypothetically murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in a never-before-seen 2006 interview. Fox aired that interview Sunday night on a program titled "The Lost Confession."

The interview was with book publisher Judith Regan and the it was aired in a a two-hour special. The special covered several topics, including the night in question. During his hypothetical confession, Simpson brought up a man named Charlie, and claims after he took a knife from Charlie he blacked out.

Simpson was asked about removing a glove before taking a knife from Charlie, and continued to say he blacked out.

"I had no conscious, I have no memory of doing that. But obviously I must have because they found the glove there," Simpson said.

When asked if he's ever blacked out before, he said no.

After these clips aired, Christopher Darden, one of Simpson’s prosecutors from his criminal trial, said plainly on the program, "I think he's confessed to murder."

In 1995, Simpson was found not guilty of the murders of his ex-wife and Goldman. Two years later, Simpson was found liable for their deaths in a civil trial and was ordered to pay over $33 million to the families of the victims.
