West Ham may face competition for Fabian Ruiz

West Ham may face competition for Fabian Ruiz In January, it was reported that West Ham were keen on signing promising Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz. The Hammers were out to sign a new holding midfielder in the mid-season transfer window and a number of players, including Fabian, were touted as targets for the club. It seems likely that West Ham will reignite their interest in a new central midfielder when the summer comes around and if Fabian is indeed a target for David Moyes, he may need to fend off a whole host of competition from elsewhere. According to Spanish reports, as cited by talkSPORT, Lazio are the latest club to express an interest in Fabian as they eye up replacements for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serie A side are set to lose their Serbian midfielder in the summer as interest continues to mount and it seems they are interested in recruiting Fabian as he continues to impress for Betis. Lazio’s rivals Roma have also been touted as a potential destination for the young Spaniard, whilst West Ham’s fellow Premier League competitors Stoke City are also claimed to be interested.

Before I write this article I’d like to thank Ex and the West Ham Way for giving me the chance to do so. of Everton this summer . I’ve seen a lot of talk from fans about bringing in a Director of Football which I think is a great idea.

A director of Sporting Lisbon has refuted West Ham "The football business is a not an adult film set on which all obscenities are allowed. West Ham did bring in a number of new signings over the summer , including Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.

West Ham United will look to hire a Director of Football as co-owner David Sullivan, who has been directly involved in transfers, will take a step back, as per a report from Ken Dyer of the Evening Standard.

Sullivan has apparently held talks with fellow co-owner David Gold and vice-chairman Karren Brady and the trio have agreed that they will bring in an experienced director to deal with the club’s recruitment strategy.

West Ham supporters have a lot of issues with their current owners and transfers are high on that list. Whilst they’ve singed some decent players under the current owners, the Hammers have also made some huge errors in the transfer market and they’ll hope that hiring somebody with experience in the market could help them make better additions to the squad.

West Ham scouts continue to watch William Carvalho

West Ham scouts continue to watch William Carvalho West Ham sent scouts to watch long-term target William Carvalho at the weekend as they look to improve their options at the end of the season as reported by Sport Witness. Carvalho earned lots of praise for his performance in the game between Sporting and rivals Porto last week and is set to be the top target for the club in the summer after they infamously missed out on his signature last summer. Sporting ended up losing the match 2-1 to Porto but the performance of Carvalho is one which has alerted those at West Ham that they want to sign him after missing out on him in the last couple of windows. This is not the first time West Ham have made checks on Carvalho this season after also scouting him in another game last month. The midfielder has always been well renowned throughout Europe and has got an enhancing reputation which deserves a move to the Premier League this summer with the Hammers keen to bolster their midfield area. A number of other Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United sent scouts to watch the player in that game.

Last year David Sullivan said that signing a top striker was his biggest priority, before the man who fancies himself as West Ham ’s director of football produced Zaza, Jonathan Calleri Last summer West Ham conspired against themselves by buying in bulk, opting for cheap quantity over quality.

West Ham United want David Moyes to stay and oversee a squad rebuild this summer .The Daily Express says West Ham have a two-year contract ready to hand to Moyes. Football is Life. Become a fan of Tribal Football .

Tottenham join race for Evans .
Tottenham have joined the race to sign in-demand centre back Jonny Evans from West Brom this summer. According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are one of a number of clubs looking at Evans as a potential signing ahead of next season. If West Brom are relegated this season, which is looking increasingly likely, Evans will be available for £3m in the next transfer window. This is because he has a clause in his West Brom contract that activates upon relegation to the Championship, allowing him to leave for a cut-price fee. Arsenal and Manchester City are also thought to be interested in Evans. Arsenal had an offer for Evans rejected in January and could come back in for another move in the summer. The Northern Ireland international has been a standout in a poor West Brom team and looks set to retain his Premier League status, even if the club are not able to.
