Alisson reportedly desperate to secure Liverpool switch

Alisson reportedly desperate to secure Liverpool switch Liverpool’s chances of signing Alisson from Roma appear to have taken a big boost, with Brazilian news outlet UOL claiming that the goalkeeper is desperate to make the switch to Anfield. Alisson has long been linked with a move to the Reds and it’s thought that the club have identified the Roma star as their top priority for the summer transfer window. Roma are keen to retain Alisson’s services but may face a struggle now, with it claimed by UOL that a move to Anfield is the only thing on the shot-stopper’s mind ahead of the summer. Real Madrid and PSG are both named as potential destinations for Alisson but it seems Liverpool are most likely to recruit the Brazil international as he seeks a big move at the end of the season. The Reds are understood to be keen on accelerating their talks with Roma for Alisson as they aim to close a deal before the transfer window opens. Liverpool would undoubtedly need to stump up a considerable sum of money in order to convince Roma to sell their star goalkeeper but after such a strong season in Serie A, it’s certainly arguable that Alisson would be worth his weight in gold.

They would also be able to give the England international a pay rise to put him with top earners such as Wayne Rooney on £150,000-a-week. The Toffees have struggled to replace Romelu Lukaku since his £75m summer move To Manchester United. Everton flop Tosun could make Besiktas return in

Everton are reportedly ready to take advantage of Jack Wilshere’s contract negotiations taking longer than expected by making a move for the England midfielder, according to The Daily Mail.

Negotiations between Arsenal and Wilshere over a contract extension began in December but there has been no conclusion to this saga at this stage.

It is believed that Arsenal want to make Wilshere take a pay cut, which the player isn’t keen on, although he does wish to stay at the club.

Everton are said to be willing to offer £80,000 per week to Wilshere in order to tempt him into a move to Merseyside.

With the main contract-related stories at Arsenal focusing on Alexis Sanchez, who left for Manchester United, and Mesut Ozil who has since signed an extension at the Emirates, Wilshere has gone under the radar and he will become a free agent in the summer if he doesn’t sign a new deal at Arsenal, leaving Everton free to make a move.

It is believed that Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on Wilshere, but he wishes to stay in England.
