Man Utd join Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham in race to sign 7-goal midfielder valued at £20m

Man Utd join Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham in race to sign 7-goal midfielder valued at £20m Arsenal’s midfield has been criticised for being too weak in recent seasons and the potential addition of Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford would go a long way towards rectifying that. Doucoure himself recently hinted that a summer transfer was on the cards amid interest from the Gunners but after an impressive season with Watford, a number of top six clubs are eyeing a summer swoop for the Frenchman. Reports suggest that Manchester United have joined the race to sign Doucoure and had scouts watch him in action during Watford’s recent win over West Brom. Manchester United are set to lose both Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini in the summer and will be short of bodies in midfield, with Doucoure targeted as a potential recruit. Despite playing primarily as a robust, all-action midfielder, the 25-year-old has chipped in with seven goals and three assists in the Premier League as the Hornets hope for a top half finish this campaign. Both Tottenham and Liverpool are also interested in signing Doucoure who is valued at £20m by Watford.

Agent of Serie A midfielder reveals Arsenal's interest

Agent of Serie A midfielder reveals Arsenal's interest Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto has long been linked with a move to Arsenal and the player’s agent has confirmed that there is interest from the Gunners. The Slovakia international is enjoying another impressive season in Udinese colours and appears to be attracting more and more interest from top clubs across Europe. AC Milan are stated to have expressed an interest in signing Jankto, but it appears they may need to fight off Arsenal for the midfielder’s signature. As quoted by the Mirror, Jankto’s agent Giuseppe Riso confirmed that he will discuss his client’s future with him in the summer, after the 2017/18 has drawn to a conclusion. “They are certainly contenders. Jankto is an important player. We decided with the Pozzo family not to talk about this question in January; to allow him to develop and mature.” “Milan and Arsenal are teams who keep an eye on young players, so we will certainly talk about it.” Jankto has made 22 starts for Udinese this season, netting three and contributing with four assists. He is a key player for his side and they will undoubtedly do what they can to retain his services. However, it seems bigger things may beckon for the 22-year-old, as Arsenal’s interest becomes increasingly publicised.

Liverpool confident of securing Jorginho this summer .
Liverpool are confident of of beating Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to a report in the Mirror. The Reds are looking to add another midfielder in the summer as Emre Can looks certain to be leaving the club, and Jorginho seems to be their number one target. According to the report, the Reds will be favourites to get a deal for the Italian international over the line, even if Arsenal and Man United enter the fray, although and interest from Spain could complicate matters as the Brazilian-born midfielder would like to play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid at some point in his career. Napoli will be looking for upwards of £50m for Jorginho but Liverpool have the ability to spend that type of cash if they deem a player to be worth that amount. If the Italian international does arrive at Anfield, he’ll be battling captain Jordan Henderson for a place in the side and he will be favourite to come out on top in that particular duel.
