Sport Monaco vice-president hints Thomas Lemar could leave this summer
Monaco keen to re-sign Bakayoko
Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is a target for AS Monaco, according to the Telegraph. The Frenchman joined the Blues only last summer from Monaco but has since found life in the Premier League somewhat difficult. Bakayoko has come under plenty of criticism throughout the course of his first season in English football and has seen his place in the side taken by Cesc Fabregas in recent times. Chelsea splashed out £39.7m on the signing of Bakayoko from Monaco last summer, with the midfielder having enjoyed a superb season under Leonardo Jardim. Bakayoko was a key man as Monaco clinched the Ligue 1 title. He has not enjoyed the same fortunes with Chelsea, however, in what has been a testing period for both the player and the club. It’s stated by the Telegraph that the Blues are unlikely to sanction a deal that sees Bakayoko leave Stamford Bridge despite the midfielder’s struggles this term. However, Monaco appear to be keen on re-signing their former man as Fabinho continues to be linked with a move away.
Thomas Lemar came 'really close' to leaving Monaco for Arsenal this summer and it could well be something Thomas Lemar could still make a move to Arsenal next year, Monaco 's vice - president has said. Vasilyev also hinted that Fabinho could be in his final season in the French Principality.
Monaco vice - president Vadim Vasilyev tells Sky Sports News Chief News Reporter Bryan Swanson that Arsenal were closest to signing Thomas Lemar in August. Thomas Lemar has a "fair chance" of leaving Monaco next summer but the club has confirmed it is likely to resist Premier League offers
AS Monaco vice-president, Vadim Vasilyev has hinted that Liverpool and Arsenal target Thomas Lemar may be sold by the Ligue 1 outfit this summer.
The winger was the subject of bids from the Gunners and Liverpool last summer, and he is likely to be in high demand again in the coming months.
According to Teamtalk, Vasilyev nodded before replying “good luck to those who want him,” when asked if the club would consider offers for the Frenchman.

Lemar has two goals and seven assists to his name in Ligue 1 this season, which hasn’t been enough to stop Paris Saint-Germain claiming the title with five games remaining.
Man City join Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to sign forward this summer
Arsenal and Liverpool both tried to sign Monaco’s Thomas Lemar in the last transfer window and the duo are reportedly still interested in the Monaco forward but they’ll now face competition for his signature. According to a report from James Tucker of the Telegraph, Manchester City are also interested in the French international as Pep Guardiola looks to take his side to the next level. City have a good relationship with Monaco having signed Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy from them for good money last summer and it looks like they’re ready to do business with the French side once again. The reigning Ligue 1 champions value Lemar at around £90m which could be a stumbling block for all interested parties, but if Monaco are willing to negotiate, then all three Premier League sides will be interested. It was widely reported that Lemar wanted to join Liverpool earlier in the year but Arsenal and City will be hoping he has a change of heart.
Monaco vice - president Vadim Vasilyev has issued a warning to Liverpool and Arsenal that Thomas Lemar will not be leaving the club in the January transfer window. Both Premier League clubs have been tracking the French winger since last summer .
MONACO vice - president Vadim Vasilyev says there is a 'fair chance' Thomas Lemar will leave the club next summer . Vasilyev then hinted Lemar was unlikely to leave in January but could leave Monaco next summer .
The Frenchman, who has 10 caps for his country, will likely cost upwards of £100 million, given that Liverpool’s £90 million offer was rebuffed last year.
Of course, whether Lemar moves to North London could depend on who is the manager at the Emirates at the start of next season, although Arsene Wenger is contracted to the club until 2019.

Monaco vice-president would rather sell Lemar to Liverpool than Arsenal .
Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has been discussing the future of Thomas Lemar ahead of the summer transfer window, with Liverpool still keen on signing the France international. The Reds were keen to sign Lemar last summer but saw their efforts rebuffed by Monaco. However, it seems they have been given extra encouragement in their pursuit of the Frenchman now. Vasilyev spoke to the French media, as cited by Metro, about Lemar and his tenure at Monaco and fielded questions about whether or not he’d sell to Liverpool this summer. Revealingly, the vice-president admitted that he’d prefer to sell Lemar to Liverpool rather than to Arsenal in the summer transfer window, with the Gunners reportedly the Reds’ closest competitors in the race for the Monaco man’s signature. Lemar has enjoyed another good season in Monaco colours after helping Leonardo Jardim’s men to the Ligue 1 title last term. He’s set to be hot property in the summer, and Liverpool may fancy their chances of landing him despite Vasilyev issuing yet another hands-off warning to potential suitors.
