Sporting News has live updates from Game 1.Before the season began, the Jets were hardly on anyone's short list to reach the playoffs, let alone finish three points shy of a Presidents' Trophy. Winnipeg got major contributions from its top players as Blake Wheeler (three assists), Mark Scheifele (goal, assist) and Dustin Byfuglien (goal, assist) continued their stellar play in the postseason. Scheifele has a league-best 12 goals in 13 games, while Byfuglien tops all defensemen with 15 points.

Fleury, who entered the series with a .951 save percentage and four shutouts, gave up four goals on 26 shots for his lowest single-game save percentage so far these playoffs (.846).
