West Ham return is an option for Joao Mario

West Ham return is an option for Joao Mario As reported by the Evening Standard, Joao Mario is not ruling out a return to West Ham after insisting that he is not set to play for Inter Milan again. Mario joined The Hammers in the January transfer window on a short-term loan deal from Inter and after an inconsistent start, he started to show his class and consistently, with great performances against Leicester, Manchester United and Everton towards the end to the season. West Ham have also been linked with a move for PSG’s Javier Pastore, who is a very similar player to Mario. It would be likely for only one to join unless Mario’s move is another loan deal, it seems. In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Mario said: “I don’t want to try again, I don’t have the necessary motivation, it’s an experience that’s over, no doubt.” “I’m not angry, I’m taking stock of the year and a half I spent in Milan. The idea is clear: I will not go back.” He then left a massive hint about a move back to the London Stadium when he said: “I’m evaluating things and the Premier League would be ideal, it’s a spectacular environment; a physical and technical competition at the same time, that’s the first idea, then La Liga. West Ham could be an idea, but now it’s too early to make a judgement.

Everton defender Matty Pennington is flying to Austria on Tuesday evening to complete a loan move to Leeds United. The 22-year-old is set to finalise a switch to the Championship outfit after they beat off interest from Hull to secure his services for the upcoming campaign.

Everton defender Brendan Galloway will look for another loan move away from Goodison this summer, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with then-Championship side Sunderland.

However Galloway failed to impress, making just 10 appearances for the North East club and not featuring at all in 2018 following the sacking of Sunderland’s manager Simon Grayson.

Galloway is deperate to kick-start his career and wants another loan move this summer in order to ensure that he gets some regular playing time under his belt.

Galloway, an England youth international, still has two years remaining on his contract with Everton but has not featured at all for the toffees since January 2016.

The young defender also spent the 2016/17 season out on loan at West Brom, however he failed to impress at The Hawthorns too and made just five appearances for the Baggies.

Middlesbrough make bid for Funes Mori .
Middlesbrough are reportedly bidding £5 million for Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori, according to the Daily Telegraph (via HITC) Funes Mori will reportedly be one of the victims of the new regime at Goodison Park, with Marco Silva committing to a clear out of his new squad. Tony Pulis is looking to improve his defence, with Bristol City’s Aden Flint also this week linked with a move to the North East and the Riverside Stadium. This comes with rumours that Ben Gibson could be leaving Boro, with numerous Premier League clubs including Everton taking a look at the defender. Funes Mori recovered from a long injury layoff earlier this year, but only made four appearances for Everton last season. The Argentine defender joined Everton in 2015 from River Plate for a fee of £9.5 million. The defender suffered an injury in 2016 whilst on Argentina duty, and missed the majority of the last two seasons, making only four appearances for the Toffees last season.
