Bayern Munich slap huge price tag on Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski

Bayern Munich slap huge price tag on Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski Bayern Munich have slapped a staggering £175million price tag on Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski after he stated his desire to leave the club this summer, the Mirror reports. The Polish striker is being much sought-after with Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris St Germain all chasing his signature. Chelsea are desperate to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season after the failure of last year’s summer signing Alvaro Morata, and missing out on securing Champions League football. However Bild in Germany are reporting that Bayern will refuse to listen to any offers under their £175million evaluation of the player. Pini Zahavi, Lewandowski’s agent, has reportedly offered the player to Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG, but Lewandowski would prefer a move to Real Madrid. However it looks unlikely that any changes will be made to the Real squad before Zinedine Zidane’s successor is named, and Lewandowski will be hopeful that the new appointment is still keen on his signature.

“I’ve experienced everything at FC Bayern, and I am slowly coming to a point where I must answer myself certain questions.”

“What are the goals I have not reached yet? Do I, time and time again, want to prove myself at the same club with the same pre-conditions?”

Hammers keeping tabs on Chris Smalling .
West Ham are keeping tabs on Chris Smalling’s future at Manchester United, according to the Metro. The report claims that the Hammers are prepared to make a move for the England international if he becomes available this summer. Smalling, who started 28 games in the Premier League last season, faces the prospect of falling down the pecking order at Manchester United this summer. Reports have linked United with big-money moves for the likes of Jerome Boateng and Raphael Varane after they ended their interest in Toby Alderweireld. The Hammers themselves are in the market for a new central defender. Manuel Pellegrini’s side are in talks to sign Alfie Mawson from Swansea. There is also a deal agreed in principle with Toulouse defender Issa Diop for €25 million. Smalling could be seen as an alternative to either player should deals fall through, with Everton also in the running to sign Diop.
