Selling club will let player go to Newcastle on one condition .
Chelsea are ready to sell Kenedy to Newcastle this summer, but only if the Magpies agree to insert a buy-back clause into the deal. The Telegraph report that the Brazilian is keen to complete a permanent move to St James’ Park after a successful loan spell at the club last season. The two clubs have been in talks over a £20 million deal, but Chelsea want to protect themselves. The Blues have been well known to add in buy-back clauses into a number of sales recently following the departures of Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, both of whom have gone on to have successful careers with other English clubs. After the success that the Belgian duo have enjoyed away from Chelsea, the Blues are keen to ensure the same thing does not happen in the future. Both Nathan Ake and Nathaniel Chalobah reportedly had buy-back clauses included in the deals that saw them move away from Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis. Whilst Chelsea may not see a future at Stamford Bridge for Kenedy, they want to protect themselves from any further embarrassment in the transfer market.
