Erzurumspor eye surprise swoop for Leigh Griffiths

Erzurumspor eye surprise swoop for Leigh Griffiths Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is reportedly a target for Turkish Super Lig side Erzurumspor. The Scottish international is being heavily linked with a move away from Celtic this summer and according to Transfer Merkezi – a Turkish transfer news source – Griffiths has emerged as a target for Erzurumspor. Twitter: BB Erzurumspor, Celtic’in forvet oyuncusu Leigh Griffiths ile görüşüyor. (@TransferMerkez) Celtic are in a good position heading into next season with regards to their attacking options. Along with star striker Moussa Dembele, they also have Odsonne Edouard, who recently completed a permanent move from PSG to the Hoops following a successful loan spell at the club. Griffiths is a player who Brendan Rodgers holds in high esteem, but a summer sale could be sanctioned if a sizable offer is submitted to the reigning Scottish champions. The 27-year-old found the net only 13 times last season but has been an effective player for the club in the recent campaigns. A move to Turkey could now be on the cards, though, if rumours are to be believed.
