Lemina reportedly features on Spurs' list of midfield targets .
Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina features on Tottenham Hotspur’s shortlist of potential midfield targets, according to a report from Sky Sports. The Gabon international joined Saints in a deal believed to be worth £18 million last summer and has since gone on to establish himself as a key member of the first-team squad. Lemina endured a difficult first season in the Premier League as he fought injury struggles and inconsistencies. However, towards the end of the campaign, he flourished under Mark Hughes. Manchester City have reportedly identified Lemina as a potential target ahead of next season, also, with the Premier League champions having recently missed out on Jorginho to Chelsea. Tottenham could be set to see some changes ensue among their midfield options, with Mousa Dembele linked with a move to Italy. Moussa Sissoko could also depart this summer, as implied by the report from Sky Sports. Southampton are understood to be keen to keep hold of their key players this summer and this is expected to be the case with Lemina, who has evidently caught the eye of some of the Premier League’s top clubs in recent times.
