Real Madrid considering £88m Ronaldo offer from Juventus

Real Madrid considering £88m Ronaldo offer from Juventus Real Madrid are reportedly considering a £88 million offer from Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo. Sky Sports report that the Old Lady have lodged a bid to sign the player this summer, in what would be an eye-catching move. Ronaldo has often voiced his frustration at Real Madrid and it seems he is once again keen to leave the club this summer. Juventus are hoping to seal a deal to sign Ronaldo, who they believe would help them secure the Champions League trophy that they have been desperately chasing. After dominating domestically in Italy, Juventus have set out to win the Champions League trophy, but have been unable to do so. Despite reaching the latter stages of his career, the Turin outfit believes Ronaldo can get them over that hurdle. Some reports have linked Real Madrid with a big-money move for Kylian Mbappe this summer, which would raise questions over Ronaldo’s long-term future.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently was in the headlines after deciding to move to Juventus from Real Madrid in a deal said to be worth £100 million. This move according to Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is because of Lionel Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo's possible obsession with being better than Lionel Messi may have motivated him to join Juventus, according to former Manchester United team-mate Ryan Giggs.

Ronaldo and Messi have battled to be deemed the best player in the world for the past 10 years, winning five Ballons d'Or apiece as Real Madrid and Barcelona fought for supremacy in LaLiga.

The 33-year-old has won league titles in England and Spain, as well as tasting international success with Portugal, something that continues to elude the Argentina captain.

Giggs, who played alongside Ronaldo at United when he lifted the first of his five Champions League titles, believes a desire to conquer Italy may stem from his former team-mate's need to be the best.

"I'm surprised that he would leave Real Madrid and go to Italy," Giggs said on ITV.

"I think it's a big challenge for him but he's going to a huge club. Having that on your CV: Real Madrid, Man United, Juventus - it's some CV.

"He's obsessed with being better than Messi. He has that now, that, 'I did it in England, I did it in Spain, I'm going to do it in Italy ... I did it with Portugal.'

"So maybe that will be his argument when [he asks himself]: 'Am I better than Messi?'"

West Ham step up interest in €20 million rated Sturaro .
According to reports in Italy, West Ham are stepping up their pursuit of Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro. Tuttosport report that Juventus are ready to sell the midfielder to fund other transfer business during this window, after their big-money move for Cristiano Ronaldo. Wolves and West ham are reportedly ready to bid for the Italian, with Juventus supposedly after a €20 million offer for the midfielder. The pair aren’t the only sides after the midfielder however, with Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Leicester also taking a look at Sturaro. Sturaro has struggled for game time at Juventus, and the big money signing of Ronaldo surely means he is leaving the club this Summer. Sturaro has certainly profited during his time at Juventus, with the midfielder taking home four Italian League titles, four Italian cups and winning the Italian super cup once. A move to West Ham could give Sturaro the first team football he desires in the Premier League.
