Everton braced for another Lookman bid from Leipzig

Everton braced for another Lookman bid from Leipzig Everton are braced for another bid from RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman, with the German side keen to bring the youngster back to Germany. The Independent report that Everton are expecting a third bid for the striker from Leipzig, who are keen to make the youngster’s loan spell permanent. Everton are demanding over £20 million for the striker, who joined from Charlton in 2017 for a fee of over £8 million. So far, Leipzig have only offered £12 million plus add-ons as well as a £14 million plus add-ons offer, still below Everton’s asking price. However, with the German side set to make a third bid, Lookman could be returning to the Bundesliga if Leipzig matches the asking price. Lookman spent last season on loan at the German side and impressed many. He scored five goals, and helped Leipzig secure a Europa League spot in the Europa League.

The former Spurs winger is a reported transfer target for Newcastle, who themselves are considering selling Matt Ritchie.

Antonio is likely to fall out of favour at West Ham next season following the arrivals of Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson, with the latter closing in on a move from Lazio.

Bakary Sako set to leave Crystal Palace this summer

Bakary Sako set to leave Crystal Palace this summer Bakary Sako’s tenure at Crystal Palace appears to be approaching its conclusion, with the winger having turned down the club’s latest contract offer. It’s believed that the Eagles had afforded Sako the chance to stay put at Selhurst Park for the foreseeable future but as confirmed by Palace boss Roy Hodgson to Football London, the attacker will likely move on this summer. “No, he is not signing, he doesn’t want to sign. I guess he will be moving on, I don’t know, the last I heard was that he had turned down the offer of a contract that we had made to him, so that’s the last I have.” Sako has only ever been utilised as a rotational option for Palace since his arrival and it seems he will go in search of regular first-team football elsewhere ahead of next season. The experienced winger, who is also capable of playing in a central role, is out of contract this summer and after turning down Palace’s latest proposal, he will seemingly walk away from South London on a free transfer. Sako, 30, made four Premier League starts last term and came off the bench on 12 occasions, scoring three goals in the process.

Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly ready to sell the player as the Hammers themselves try to recoup some funds this summer.

Hodgson is a known admirer of the player and the move could cause a domino effect that will allow for the aforementioned deals to take place.

West Ham to listen to offers of £15m and upwards for Antonio .
West Ham are prepared to listen to offers in excess of £15 million for Michail Antonio this summer, according to Sky Sports. The Hammers have already overseen a busy summer transfer window and it seems Manuel Pellegrini is set to continue overhauling his squad ahead of next season. Antonio was in and out of the team throughout last season, largely due to injuries, and it seems West Ham are prepared to cash in on the versatile attacker. The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Crystal Palace this summer, and a stay in London could be of interest to Antonio as he looks set to seek pastures new. However, if the Eagles or any other potential suitors want to acquire the former Nottingham Forest winger, it’s claimed by Sky Sports that a sum of £15 million will, at the very least, need to be offered. Antonio is understood to be performing at a high level in West Ham’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland, but it seems a permanent move away is on the cards.
