Newcastle to consider offers for Baggies target Aarons

Newcastle to consider offers for Baggies target Aarons West Brom have been handed a boost in their apparent pursuit of Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons, according to reports. The Baggies are believed to have identified Aarons as a player who they would be keen to recruit ahead of next season and, if the Mirror are to be believed, Newcastle are prepared to listen to offers for their promising winger. Aarons was largely frozen out by Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park last season and this saw him secure a January loan move away from the club. The 22-year-old arrived at Serie A club Hellas Verona for the second-half of the season and it seems he could be set for a summer move. West Brom are looking to add extra quality to their attacking options and it’s claimed by the Mirror that although they have a number of targets in mind, Aarons is a man who is under consideration. The winger, who struggled has struggled with injuries in recent times, has three years remaining on his deal at Newcastle still.

The Evening Chronicle have reported that Newcastle United are willing to " listen to offers " for striker Ivan Toney as the youngster becomes surplus to requirements at St. James' Park. Prior to going on loan last summer , Armstrong was considered slightly above Toney in the Newcastle reckoning.

Aarons was largely frozen out by Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park last season and this saw him secure a January loan move away from the club. The 22-year-old arrived at Serie A club Hellas Verona for the second half of the season and it seems he could be set for a permanent summer move.

West Ham to listen to offers of £15m and upwards for Antonio

West Ham to listen to offers of £15m and upwards for Antonio West Ham are prepared to listen to offers in excess of £15 million for Michail Antonio this summer, according to Sky Sports. The Hammers have already overseen a busy summer transfer window and it seems Manuel Pellegrini is set to continue overhauling his squad ahead of next season. Antonio was in and out of the team throughout last season, largely due to injuries, and it seems West Ham are prepared to cash in on the versatile attacker. The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Crystal Palace this summer, and a stay in London could be of interest to Antonio as he looks set to seek pastures new. However, if the Eagles or any other potential suitors want to acquire the former Nottingham Forest winger, it’s claimed by Sky Sports that a sum of £15 million will, at the very least, need to be offered. Antonio is understood to be performing at a high level in West Ham’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland, but it seems a permanent move away is on the cards.

Newcastle completed the signing of Kenedy on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea recently, which is set to push Aarons only further down the pecking order of wingers at the club.

Newcastle will only push to sign winger on one condition .
Newcastle United will only pursue a reunion with Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend if Matt Ritchie completes a move to Stoke. Chronicle Live report that a deal will only go through if the Potters step up their interest in the Scottish winger. Ritchie is being heavily linked with a move away from St James’ Park, but Rafa Benitez is in no hurry to sell the former Bournemouth winger. The club have already reportedly rejected one £15 million offer for the player, with Newcastle’s asking price believed to be closer to £20 million. Should Ritchie complete a move to Stoke, his departure would free up the position and necessary funds that would allow Newcastle to move for Townsend. Townsend has been linked with a return to the club from the moment he originally left for Palace.
