  Morning commuters warned to expect delays following collisions Commuters in Dublin have been warned to expect delays due to collisions this morning. A crash at North Strand has been moved off the road but delays remain from the Malahide Road junction in Fairview.There are also delays on the M1 southbound at the Balbriggan junction where there is a crashed vehicle off the road the AA reports. Elsewhere inbound on Gardiner St is slow from Summerhill to Beresford Place and the Swords Road is very busy from the Port Tunnel to Collins Ave and through Drumcondra.There are also delays from Ormond Quay to Bachelors Walk on the North Quays.

Motorists were left stranded in cars as localised flooding hit roads in Oldham, and further east of Manchester roads in Mossley were swamped by the deluge running off the Pennine hills into the village. There are no reports of injury or damage to property.
