  Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade battle city centre blaze Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus have fought a blaze at a building on Dublin's Gardiner Street this morning. The alarm was raised just before 7am when the fire was detected. Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene backed up by a District Officer and Advanced Paramedics.Smoke could be seen pouring from the front door of the Georgian building, which is used as offices, on the corner of Gardiner Street Lower and Deverell Place as the fire crews tackled the fire.There were no immediate reports of injuries but the building will have to be searched once the fire is extinguished.

Three children died in a house fire in Tamina, Texas early Friday morning, despite valiant efforts to save them. Body camera footage of the rescue attempts by first responders (shown above) reveals the roof collapsed sometime after officials arrived at the scene.

Police have launched a murder inquiry after three children died in a suspected arson attack on a house in Salford.

Firefighters from three local stations were called to the family home in Jackson Street, Worsley, at 4.58am this morning and a 14-year-old girl was declared dead at the scene.

An eight-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl later died in hospital, with another three-year-old girl fighting for her life.

The 35-year-old mother of all four children is also in a serious condition in hospital and a manhunt is under way for a suspect, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.

Three children died in the house fire . Two children and their uncle were injured. One child was released from Children's Mercy Hospital on Monday after suffering serious burns. An 8-year-old child and a 20-year-old man remained hospitalized.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "Sadly it's been confirmed that three children have died following this morning's house fire in Worsley, another child and a woman are in hospital in a very serious condition. This is a truly tragic incident and all our thoughts go out to the family."

Two people managed to escape the blaze before crews arrived.

The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Jackson Street remains closed - with one end blocked by large steel barriers - and firefighters are still at the scene to monitor for any hot spots.

Forensic investigators are also in attendance.
