COPS STRESSED OUT

While the case is now being probed by the crime branch, policemen at Burari police station are stressed out. None of the officer has seen this kind of gory incident in their lifetime.

Mail Today spoke to several officers posted at Burari police station to find out their state of mind after they visited the spot and probed the case of alleged salvation, all of them agreed that they are having sleepless nights.

One of the senior officers heading the police station, requesting anonymity, said: "Right now, the police staff are busy in probing the case, maintaining law and order situation in the entire area. But after few days they might undergo stress buster sessions in the police stations to encourage the cops. Also, on regular basis the staff is given motivational speeches."

He confirmed that the locals have given them options to perform puja inside the police station and start some spiritual work, but without hurting their sentiments they have been asked to give some time. It is important to mention that only 100 cops are looking after the safety and security of Burari that is spread around 30 km with a population of 15 lakhs.
