  Interpol investigating man's remains that have been kept in an Irish morgue for five years Interpol are trying to establish the identity of the remains of a man which have been kept in an Irish morgue for five years. The international policing organisation is looking into the case after the remains have been at the mortuary at the University Hospital Limerick without being identified or claimed.The Limerick Leader reports that the remains belong to a male non-Irish national but his age and where the body was discovered haven't been disclosed.The remains of a woman have also been kept in the morgue since last August, but she hasn't been identified yet.

The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed it was providing consular assistance to the man ’s family.

It is believed the man died after collapsing in a restaurant in the capital city of Phnom Penh yesterday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs said: “We are aware of the case and we are providing consular assistance to his family”.

People in the restaurant attempted to revive the man, but he is said to have been pronounced dead at the scene.

Irishman dies after collapsing in a restaurant in Cambodia . According to local media reports, the man died very suddenly at 3:30pm on Friday. The man is said to have collapsed not long after entering the Sara Ethiopian Restaurant on Street 172 in Phnom Penh.

An Irish man has collapsed and died in Cambodia . Local media is reporting the incident happened in the capital city of Phnom Penh. Members of the Cambodia Expats Online community say it happened at an Ethiopian restaurant in the city.

Images of the man in the restaurant were captured on a Facebook Live video, and shared by local media.

Two young tourists had a lucky escape after they got cut off by the tide on a popular Dublin beach. The two young people, from Finland, were walking on Sandymount Beach when they realised the tide had come in around them. They were quickly sighted by nearby walkers who immediately raised the alarm. Dún Laoghaire Coast Guard members received the call while training on the East Pier in Dún Laoghaire Harbour.Upon arriving to Sandymount Beach, the team spotted people in the water. RNLI Dún Laoghaire Inshore Lifeboat and R116 were also requested to attend the scene.
