Gardai in Tallaght have arrested a disqualified motorist who was caught driving under the influence with no tax or insurance.

The latter two factors in particular would probably be enough to bring members of the Garda Traffic Corps to seize the car in which the motorist was travelling.

But when the @GardaTraffic Twitter account reported the seizure, it turns out Gardai had another very good - if strange - reason to make sure the car was taken off the road.

Posting pictures of the vehicle, the account showed that the manic motorist was driving the car without any front wheels at the time of their arrest.
