The incident occurred just over an hour ago on a morning that saw five crashes across the capital.

The collision occurred on the M50 Northbound between the J12 and J11.

Three lanes are closed with one axillary lane open.

Meanwhile, a four car collision on the M50 near the Red Cow was causing serious traffic disruption all morning.

Emergency services dealt with the incident which occurred on the busiest route in Dublin.

Another crash on the Templeogue Road at around 7am this morning also caused heavy delays, but the road has since been reopened.

Derek Hutch, also known as Derek Coakley, is the latest victim in the Hutch-Kinahan feud. The 27-year-old, a nephew of Gerard “The Monk” Hutch, was gunned down yesterday at 3pm at Bridgeview Halting Site, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 . In a press conference at the scene, Superintendent John Gordon said gardai are particularly interested in motorists with dash cam footage of two vehicles, a black Volkswagen Golf and a black Toyota Avensis.Mr Hutch’s body remained at the scene yesterday while gardai began the hunt for his killer. A second scene was preserved nearby on Crag Avenue, where a car was found on fire.
