The 15-year-old was last seen on Riviera del Sol in Mijas Costa, near Fuengirola, on New Year’s Day in 2008.

Amy was not officially reported missing until January 3 – and no trace of the Dubliner has ever been found.

The tragic teen, who seemingly hadn’t an enemy in the world, was living at the time with mum Audrey Fitzpatrick, her stepfather Dave Mahon and her brother Dean.

What I'm saying is that the loopholes should be closed, thus raising the amount of taxes for which they are responsible. As it stands now, if a person makes million per year, he or she does not need to pay any tax at all. Why should the government do it ?

Recycling should be done by everyone on this planet! Fines should be implemented this will make SO many more people recycle! SAY YES!! If the government should pick up one, why shouldn't they pick up the other?

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Christine said: “Our Government should have been doing an awful lot more. They only did so much.

“There are some Government bodies that were very good but unfortunately they couldn’t go any further because [of restrictions]. But if our Government stood up for the right reasons and listened to the truth maybe things would be a bit different.

“Last year we were outside Dail Eireann, we did a candlelit vigil for Amy and were looking for the Government to do something with Amy’s case.

“We’re in Europe so surely to God we can go to the European courts?”

Kids are our future. So, the government should start spending more money in schools than our national defense, our economy, and the stock market. If you have and education you will get farther in life because you will know how to do a lot more things then other people.

Something must be done before it 's too late. 2 I haven't received the letter. It might have been sent to the wrong address. 3 A decision will not _ until the next meeting. 4 Do you think that more money should _ on education?

The lack of any progress has devastated the family and Christine believes Amy’s pink Nokia phone which she believes Spanish police have never obtained – could provide vital clues.

Christine continued: “There is vital evidence there and unfortunately they [the police] don’t seem to be picking up on it.

“It’s not that I haven’t tried to highlight it because I have.

“It’s 10 years now and I think it’s about time a cold case should be set-up but apparently the [Spanish] Guardia Civil don’t have a cold case unit. If fresh eyes would come in it could give us some answers.”

Christine said she met up with some Sinn Fein representatives last year.

She added: “They want me to write every single thing down but that’s ridiculous? It needs to be taken to the European Parliament really to get any type of progress and something to happen.

“They say after seven years you should be able to have a cold case and it’s now 10 years and a month.

Despite the preference for wind farms, the UK government isn’t keen on ( ALLOW ) farms to be built inland. ‘What a terrible day. I should have stayed in bed this morning!’ he said , as he prepared to stay late at work. More must be done to make this work safe.

I am not a true "artistic" person as I was never exposed to such things as a child and did not grow up in a region with a lot of "culture." The government should subsidize the arts. It 's a tradition that most educated, wealthy countries have always done .

“So I really wish we could get a cold case for Amy because she deserves it if nothing else.”

Christine claimed Spanish social services were brought in to check on Amy in 2005 but Christopher knew nothing about it until years later.

She added: “Regarding Amy’s schooling, why she was allowed stay at home? She wasn’t being self-taught or anything like that.

“You know there’s so many things that haven’t been answered to us.

“Why were the social services brought in on Amy in Spain that her father knew nothing about.

“The kids were taken to Spain on a two-week holiday never to return.”

Christopher’s son Dean, 23, was stabbed to death by Mahon in May 2013.

He was sentenced to seven years in prison in June 2016.

Christine said: “Christopher’s after going through hell and back and that’s the only way I can explain it.

“And I will say it in my heart here that it’s a disgrace the way the law is. There should be a stronger law for children.

“Children are supposed to be a priority.

“The Government hasn’t made Amy a priority.”
