A family member confirmed to The Irish Mirror that the 28-year-old woman remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

The incident occurred at the Rathmullan Park housing estate in Drogheda and the scene has been cordoned off.

"A 28-year-old female remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital, in relation to this incident. Scene is currently preserved."
