  'Expect delays' - garda warning as two lorries collide on the M50 MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays following a collision involving two lorries this morning. Ahead of the busy Bank Holiday Weekend on the roads, there has been a crash on one of the country's busiest routes.Gardai tweeted: "Dublin Traffic: Crash between two lorries has lead to heavy traffic on the slip road between M50 Northbound and M1 Inbound (port tunnel). AA Roadwatch said: “There is an overturned vehicle on Chesterfield Ave in the Phoenix Park at the entrance to Dublin Zoo. Traffic is also heavy on the southside of the capital this morning . “It’s heavy from Goatstown Road through to the Beech Hill jct on Clonskeagh Road.”

Car overturns in Dublin. © The Journal Car overturns in Dublin. GARDAÍ ARE DEALING with an overturned car on Goatstown Road near Our Lady’s Grove School in Dublin, according to AA Roadwatch.

An ambulance is at the scene.

The accident has resulted in heavy morning commuter traffic with Goatstown Road down to one lane.

It is reported there are inbound delays all the way up to the Beech Hill Road Junction on Clonskeagh Road.

In a separate incident this morning, a collision is blocking the right-turn lane of the Stillorgan Road after the UCD flyover.

There are delays in and around the Nutley Lane.

AA Roadwatch has warned motorists that due to UCD exams taking place at the RDS Simmonscourt until this Saturday, delays are to be expected through Ballsbridge and Sandymount along Anglesea Road, Merrion Road, Shelbourne Road and Pembroke Road.
